 Tenting
at the Rosewood Campsite A new addition here at Rosewood Cottages is our camping. We have two sites available for use now. They are in a secluded, unspoiled spot, right beside the idyllic Saugeen River. You'll find that there is a charmingly simple, pastoral quality here that you won't soon forget. Hydro and water are supplied, a toilet facility is close by, and the shower facility is just up the hill near the pool.

While many of Ontario's tourist destinations offer rest and relaxation, Southampton is blessed with air so clean it has been referred to as a "miracle" by many people who suffer with allergies. Most of our winds come out of the north-west, crossing the longest stretch of fresh water in the world. In fact a look at the map reveals that, other than crossing a bit of land by Sault Ste. Marie, we receive a breeze which has had clear sailing from Thunder Bay across Lake Superior and Lake Huron - and it works like magic for our breathing. So, after you've checked out all the other wonderful things Southampton has to offer, remember we also offer you a real breath of fresh air. Trailer Sites We are limited to only one trailer site available. It is up by the pool and
close to all the action. This site is reserved for weekly or daily rentals only. We have no seasonal trailer sites available at Rosewood at this time RIP "Snoopy" 1994 - July 11, 2010 Manager Bill Gerrard never had to worry about being lonely during his arduous work days; Snoopy followed his master around like a loyal Labrador Retriever! We'll miss him.
